Everything has a tax on it, and when you decide you want something, be it material or figurative or anything significant, when the tax is revealed you have to decide if it's still worth it.

This album represents making that decision from a place of growth, maturity, 10 years wiser than the last time Apollo and I were around these parts.

The album starts out with the listener and I taking a drive to get that "thing", and by the end we're looking in the rear view mirrors, at the end of the drive, reflecting on what it was all worth”
