Truth ≠ Tribe return with “I!”, the lead single from their new album Zimtserla! — a powerful, rhythm-driven collision of jazz, folk, experimental sound and percussion.

Zimtserla! is inspired by an imagined Slavic mythology and the story of Zimtserla, a figure who was supposed to bring spring and chase away winter, but never fulfilled her destiny. The album explores ideas of heritage, identity, resistance and letting go.

Across nine tracks, Truth ≠ Tribe create an intense soundscape where ancient rhythms meet urban energy, drawing on saxophones, sopila, brass, electric guitar, electronics and an expansive percussion palette.

Recorded in Zagreb in 2025, Zimtserla! is a bold and immersive new chapter from one of the region’s most distinctive experimental ensembles.

Truth ≠ Tribe are Mak Murtić, Nenad Sinkaz, Jurica Rukljić and Nenad Kovačić. Zimtserla! was recorded in Zagreb in 2025, produced by Vedran Peternel and Truth ≠ Tribe, mixed by Vedran Peternel and mastered by Miroslav Piškulić.
